Trusting God’s Providence
Scripture:
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.” — Romans 8:28
Personal Reflection:
Burroughs wrote, “The good man sees God in all things, and all things in God.” When I forget providence, I complain; when I remember it, I am calm. Nothing touches me apart from my Father’s hand. Even losses, delays, and disappointments are instruments in His wise plan.
Contemplation:
Do I truly believe that God’s providence governs both my comforts and my crosses?
Prayer:
Sovereign Lord, help me rest in Your wise plan. Teach me to see Your hand even when I do not understand Your ways.
Challenge:
List three current frustrations. Next to each one, write: “God is working this for my good.”
