MAKE SURE YOUR SINS ARE WASHED AWAY!

'Twill not be long till all is o'er

And we shall dwell on earth no more!

We have no certain dwelling place

Among the Mortal Human Race;

We're trav'ling now to Heav'n or Hell

Where we shall then forever dwell!

This world is NOT a place to play,

But one in which to watch and pray!

Time is not given us to waste,

Indulge earth's lusts -- its pleasure taste;

Our purpose in this world is ONE:

Make peace with God through His Dear Son.

So do not fritter Time away--

For when its gone -- its gone to STAY!

What little Time is thine, use NOW--

To serve the Master -- work his plow,

And plow a furrow that is straight,

Which leads unto Sweet Heaven's Gate.

Be sober, for the Time is short!

All foolishness we must abort!

With worldly fools we must not flirt,

Lest into their sins we revert,

And when we're risen from the sod,

Its shown that we're NOT RIGHT WITH GOD!

Many today are now deceived

Who once in pur-i-ty believed;

In sweet First Love, they lived and talked,

The Way of Holiness they walked;

But now that talk and walk is gone!

Of worldly things they speak and fawn.

You'll find them in great worldly throngs,

Enjoying, with them. all their wrongs;

And of this they are not ashamed,

While both of God's grace-works are claimed;

There's naught about them, heard or seen,

That clearly shows they're saved and clean!

But He Who looketh on the heart

Doth know that in Him they've no part;

His Presence has been grieved away,

For with the world their souls do play!

They still profess the Savior's name,

But their profession's just a game!

The motions of religion stay,

But they have drifted far away,

Sound doctrine is not welcome now,

And a straight furrow they won't plow!

A Social-Gospel they now preach,

Just pious pla-ti-tudes they teach.

"We Preach Christ Crucified," it said--

A sign upon a church, now dead.

But vines now hid "Christ Crucified"--

"We Preach" was all that could be spied.

Of many churches now, today,

"We preach" is all that they can say!

"Christ Crucified" is now left out,

And theologues the Bible doubt,

How Sad! THE LAST TRUMP SOON SHALL SOUND!

Make sure that, "IN CHRIST" YOU'LL BE FOUND!

Make sure your sins are washed away

When Christ Returns on Judgment Day!
