Christ the Believer’s Refuge

Christ the Believer’s Refuge

Scripture

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

Personal Reflection

In every storm, Christ remains the believer’s hiding place. Refuge does not mean escape—it means security.

Contemplation

Where do I instinctively run when trouble strikes?

Puritan Quote

William Gurnall wrote, “Faith runs to Christ as the dove to the cleft of the rock.”

Prayer

Lord Jesus, hide me in Yourself when fears overwhelm me.

Application

Turn immediately to prayer the next time anxiety arises.
