God’s Sovereignty Is My Anchor

God’s Sovereignty Is My Anchor

Scripture:

“The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all.” — Psalm 103:19

Personal Reflection:

Storms shake our confidence, but they cannot shake God’s throne. When life feels out of control, Scripture reminds us that nothing is out of His control. Every wind, wave, and whisper of trouble moves under His sovereign command.

Contemplation:

Do I truly believe God rules over all—or only over the things that make sense to me?

Puritan Quote:

Thomas Watson wrote, “To know that nothing hurts the godly is a matter of comfort, but to know that everything helps them is a matter of triumph.”

Prayer:

Lord, help me rest in Your sovereign rule. Teach my heart to trust Your hand even when I cannot trace Your plan.

Application:

Today, write down one situation that feels chaotic—and declare God’s sovereignty over it.
