The Storm as God’s School

The Storm as God’s School

Scripture:

“Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word.” — Psalm 119:67

Personal Reflection:

Storms are painful teachers—but they are effective ones. I have learned more about obedience, dependence, and holiness in struggle than I ever learned in ease.

Contemplation:

What lesson might God be teaching me through the hardship I face right now?

Puritan Quote:

John Newton wrote, “Everything is needful that He sends; nothing is needful that He withholds.”

Prayer:

Lord, sanctify me through the storm. Teach me whatever I must learn to reflect Christ more fully.

Application:

Ask God to show you one area of obedience He is forming through your present trial.
