Christ, the Captain in the Storm
Scripture:
“Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?” — Mark 4:41
Personal Reflection:
The disciples feared the storm until they saw the One who commands the storm. My peace does not come from calmer waters—but from a clearer view of Christ.
Contemplation:
Is my focus on the storm—or on the Savior who stands above it?
Puritan Quote:
Jonathan Edwards declared, “The redeemed have all their objective good in Christ. He is all their treasure.”
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, calm my heart even if You do not calm the storm. Fix my eyes on You, my Captain and King.
Application:
Spend five minutes today worshiping Christ—not asking anything—just acknowledging His greatness.
