God’s Providence in Every Detail

God’s Providence in Every Detail

Scripture:

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good.” — Romans 8:28

Personal Reflection:

Providence means nothing is random. Even the painful threads God weaves into our lives serve a divine purpose. This comforts me in the uncertainties of my own journey.

Contemplation:

Do I acknowledge God’s providence only after the blessing arrives? Or do I trust Him before I see the outcome?

Puritan Quote:

John Flavel proclaimed, “Providence is like Hebrew; it is best understood when read backward.”

Prayer:

Father, help me to trust that Your providence is always at work—even when I cannot see the tapestry from where I stand.

Application:

Identify one past hardship and thank God for the hidden good that came from it.
