God’s Glory in Salvation
Scripture
“To the praise of the glory of his grace.” — Ephesians 1:6
Personal Reflection
Salvation is not ultimately about man’s rescue—it is about God’s glory. Every aspect of redemption—from election to glorification—reveals the richness of His grace. When God saves a sinner, He displays His mercy, His justice satisfied in Christ, and His sovereign love. This truth humbles the believer, for salvation is not earned, achieved, or maintained by human effort. It is entirely the work of God. The storm often reminds us of our weakness, but it also reminds us of the greatness of the grace that saved us.
Contemplation
John Owen wrote, “The greatest glory of God is seen in the salvation of sinners.”
Do you see your salvation as God’s work—or your own decision?

Lord, I praise You for Your sovereign grace. Let my life be a testimony to Your saving power.
