The Glory of God in Weakness
Scripture
“My strength is made perfect in weakness.”— 2 Corinthians 12:9
Personal Reflection
Weakness is not a hindrance to God’s glory—it is a vehicle for it. When we are strong, we are tempted to rely on ourselves. But when we are weak, we are driven to depend on Christ. This dependence magnifies His strength. The storm strips away self-sufficiency and reveals the sufficiency of Christ.
Contemplation
Thomas Brooks wrote, “God will have all the glory.”
Are you resisting weakness or embracing it as God’s tool?
Prayer
Lord, let Your strength be displayed in my weakness.
Application
Acknowledge one area of weakness and entrust it fully to God.
