Steadfast Because God Reigns

Scripture: Hebrews 12:28 (KJV)

"Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear."

Personal Reflection

The world around us is constantly changing. Nations rise and fall. Economies fluctuate. Cultures abandon biblical truth. Personal circumstances shift with astonishing speed. Yet amid all these changes, one reality remains immovable: the kingdom of God.

Because our King reigns forever, His people can remain steadfast in every storm. Our confidence does not depend upon political stability, financial security, physical health, or favorable circumstances. It rests upon the unchanging reign of our sovereign God.

This confidence enables us to persevere. We continue serving Christ when others abandon Him. We continue proclaiming truth when error becomes popular. We continue walking in holiness when the world mocks righteousness. Our stability comes not from ourselves but from the One who holds us securely in His hands.

Every chapter of Steadfast in the Stormpoints us to this great reality: right theology produces steadfast living. As our understanding of God's sovereignty deepens, our faith becomes more resilient, our hope more secure, and our worship more joyful.

The storms will come, but they will not prevail. The King still reigns. Christ still intercedes. The Holy Spirit still empowers. The Word of God still stands forever.

Therefore, stand firm. Trust completely. Worship joyfully. Serve faithfully. Your sovereign God is leading you safely home.

Sovereign Lord, establish my heart in the confidence that Your kingdom cannot be shaken. Keep me steadfast until the day I see my King face to face. Through Jesus Christ my Lord, Amen.
