Standing Firm in Faith
Scripture
“Stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” — 1 Corinthians 16:13
Personal Reflection
The Christian is called to stand firm in a world that constantly shifts. Truth is often compromised, and conviction is frequently weakened, yet the believer must remain steadfast. The storm tests whether our faith is rooted in truth or merely influenced by circumstance. Standing firm requires courage, conviction, and dependence upon God. It is not passive—it is active resistance against compromise and error.
Contemplation
John Knox wrote, “Stand fast in the truth.”
Are you standing firm—or slowly compromising?
Prayer
Lord, give me strength to stand firm in Your truth without wavering.
Application
Take a stand for truth today, even if it is unpopular.
