The Call to Finish Strong
Scripture
“Let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” — Hebrews 12:1
Personal Reflection
The Christian life is a race marked not by speed, but by endurance. Many begin with enthusiasm, yet the true test of faith is perseverance to the end. Storms will arise, discouragement will come, and the temptation to quit will press hard upon the soul. Yet Scripture calls us to run with patience—a steady, determined faith that refuses to turn back. The believer does not run alone; Christ has gone before us, and His Spirit strengthens us within. To finish strong is to continue trusting, obeying, and clinging to Christ when the path grows difficult.
Contemplation
John Flavel wrote, “A true Christian is not known by his beginnings, but by his endings.”
Are you pressing forward—or growing weary in the race?
Prayer
Lord, strengthen me to run faithfully and finish well for Your glory.
Application
Take one step today in obedience where you have grown weary.
