The Power of Christ’s Resurrection

Personal Reflection

The resurrection of Christ is not merely a historical event—it is a present reality in the life of every believer. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in us, enabling us to overcome sin, endure trials, and walk in newness of life. Too often, believers live as though they are powerless, forgetting that they are united to the risen Christ. The storm may press heavily upon the soul, but it cannot overcome resurrection power. This power sustains, strengthens, and transforms. It reminds us that death has been defeated, sin has been conquered, and victory is certain.

Jonathan Edwards wrote, “Christ’s resurrection is the believer’s assurance of victory.”
