Proverbs 2: 6: "For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding." No matter how much we are engaged in the task of searching for knowledge through our human experience in the world or going to centers of advanced learning, the source of all truth and all true knowledge is God. He must provide the wisdom necessary for the proper interpretation of reality. Although their emphasis is different, both Deuteronomy and Proverbs recognize that the underlying foundation of knowledge is the Word of God. If you want to have knowledge, you must spend time reading and studying God's Word. Even before sin had entered the world, Adam and Eve needed God’s Word in order to know themselves and their relationship to creation. The words of His mouth are contained in Scripture. It is there that God speaks. I have many degrees but it is the Word of God that I look to for true knowledge and wisdom. Study the Word to become wise.
