Obedience in a Mocking World

Scripture: Genesis 6:22 (KJV)
"Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he."

Personal Reflection

Noah obeyed God in a world that thought him foolish. For more than a century he remained faithful while surrounded by unbelief.

The Christian should not expect applause from the world. The world ridiculed Noah, hated the prophets, crucified Christ, and persecutes faithful believers even today.

Serving by faith means obeying God regardless of public opinion. Noah's obedience was not partial or selective. He obeyed "all" that God commanded him.

Too often believers seek to soften biblical truth to gain acceptance. Yet Noah teaches us that faithfulness matters more than popularity.

The world may call biblical convictions narrow-minded, intolerant, or extreme. But God's servants must remain steadfast. Better to be mocked by men than rebuked by God.

Am I willing to obey God even when it costs me acceptance or approval?

Prayer

Lord, grant me courage to obey You in a hostile world and never to compromise Your truth. Amen.
