Serving Until the End

Scripture: Galatians 6:9 (KJV)
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Personal Reflection

Noah spent one hundred and twenty years building the ark. Think of the perseverance that required. There were undoubtedly days of exhaustion, discouragement, and loneliness. There must have been times when the work seemed endless and the ridicule unbearable.

Yet Noah did not quit.

Faithful service to Christ often requires long obedience in the same direction. We may pray for years without seeing answers. We may serve faithfully without receiving recognition. We may labor in ministry and wonder whether anything is being accomplished.

The temptation to grow weary is real.

But God calls His people to perseverance. The Christian life is not a sprint; it is a marathon. The Lord never promised that service would be easy, but He did promise that it would be worthwhile.

One day Noah entered the ark and understood that every act of obedience had mattered. Every board, every nail, every sacrifice had been part of God's perfect plan.

The same will be true for every faithful believer. Nothing done for Christ is ever wasted. Every prayer, every act of kindness, every word of witness, every hidden service performed for His glory is remembered by God.

The harvest may not come immediately, but it will come. Therefore, do not quit. Keep building. Keep serving. Keep believing.

The God who called you is faithful, and in due season you will reap if you faint not. When we stand before Christ, we will discover that every act of faithfulness, no matter how small, was precious in His sight. Until then, let us labor on with our eyes fixed upon Him.

Prayer

Lord, strengthen my hands for service and keep me from discouragement. Help me persevere faithfully until the end and trust that You will bring a harvest in Your perfect time. Amen.
