Christ the Soul’s Refuge
Scripture:
“The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” — Proverbs 18:10
Personal Reflection:
Bridge wrote, “Run to Christ with your fears; there is room enough in Him for all your sorrows.” When I take shelter in other comforts, I find temporary relief—but only Christ offers peace that cannot be shaken.
Contemplation:
To flee to Christ is not weakness but wisdom. The strong tower of His name guards the trembling soul from despair.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, be my hiding place in every storm. Teach me to run to You first, not last.
Challenge:
Whenever anxiety arises today, whisper the name of Jesus and consciously entrust the moment to Him.
