The Power of Remembering Grace

The Power of Remembering Grace

Scripture:
“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.” — Lamentations 3:21

Personal Reflection:
Bridge taught that “forgetfulness of mercy breeds discouragement.” When I rehearse my wounds more than God’s works, I sink. But memory can become a minister of grace if it recalls His faithfulness.

Contemplation:
Hope often begins with remembrance. The believer’s history with God is a testimony that His mercy renews every morning.

Prayer:
Lord, stir my memory to gratitude. Let my past deliverances fuel faith for today’s trials.

Challenge:
List three times God delivered or comforted you in the past year—and thank Him for each.
