The Strength Found in Waiting
Scripture:
“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.” — Isaiah 40:31
Personal Reflection:
Bridge observed, “Faith stands still while sense runs mad.” Impatience is often the enemy of comfort. God’s timing may stretch me, but His delays are not denials.
Contemplation:
Waiting is not wasted time—it is worship in disguise. Strength is renewed, not by striving, but by stillness before the Almighty.
Prayer:
Everlasting God, teach me holy patience. Help me trust that Your delays are ripening my faith.
Challenge:
Resist the urge to “fix” something today; instead, commit it entirely to God in prayer and leave it with Him.
