The Danger of Doubting God’s Love
Scripture:
“Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love.” — Jeremiah 31:3
Personal Reflection:
Bridge warned, “To question the love of God is to wrong Him in the tenderest place.” My doubts may feel harmless, but they are arrows against divine affection. God’s love was settled at Calvary—never in the fickle tide of my feelings.
Contemplation:
Faith clings to the cross as the final proof of love. No dark providence can rewrite the blood-sealed covenant of grace.
Prayer:
O Lord, forgive my doubting heart. Teach me to measure Your love by the cross, not by my circumstances.
Challenge:
Whenever doubt whispers, declare: “The cross proves His love—nothing can undo that.”
