Comfort in God’s Covenant

Scripture:
“My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” — Psalm 89:34

Personal Reflection:
Bridge said, “When you cannot find comfort in yourself, look to the covenant of grace.” My assurance does not rest on my grasp of God but on His unbreakable grip on me.

Contemplation:
The covenant of grace stands firm amid the storms of conscience. It was made not with man’s weakness, but with Christ’s worthiness.

Prayer:
Faithful God, anchor me in Your covenant promises. When my heart trembles, remind me that You cannot lie.

Challenge:
Read Hebrews 6:17–19 and thank God aloud for the “two immutable things” that guarantee your hope.
