Christ Will Not Let Go

Scripture:
“He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 1:6

Personal Reflection:
Sibbes wrote that Christ “will not leave the work of grace half-done.” When my faith falters, He remains faithful. My security is not in my grip on Him but in His grip on me.

Contemplation:
Do I rest in Christ’s perseverance or fear my own failure?

Prayer:
Faithful Savior, finish the work You began in me. Keep me by Your steadfast grace.

Challenge:
Each morning this week, begin with this prayer: “Lord, keep me by Your faithful hand.”
