The Triumph of Grace
Scripture:
“Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.” — Romans 5:20
Personal Reflection:
For Sibbes, the whole Christian life is “a continual coming to Christ for mercy.” Sin may bruise me, but grace restores me. The gospel begins in weakness and ends in triumph—not because of me, but because of Him.
Contemplation:
Do I live as one defeated by sin, or one upheld by grace?
Prayer:
Gracious Redeemer, let Your abounding grace be my song. Help me live in the victory of mercy.
Challenge:
End your day by thanking God for every mercy you can recall. Let gratitude close your evening.
