The Sweet Fruit of Repentance

The Sweet Fruit of Repentance

Scripture:
“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of.” — 2 Corinthians 7:10

Personal Reflection:
Watson said, “Till sin be bitter, Christ will not be sweet.” When I see the ugliness of my sin, the cross becomes radiant. Repentance is not the end of joy—it is the doorway to it.

Contemplation:
True repentance does not end in despair but in delight. It breaks the heart to heal it, wounds to restore, and humbles to lift up.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, pierce my heart with holy sorrow that I may taste the sweetness of Your forgiving grace.

Challenge:
Set aside ten minutes today to confess sins specifically—not generally—and then thank Christ personally for cleansing each one.
