Grace for the Broken
Scripture:
“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3
Personal Reflection:
Sibbes wrote that God’s children “are bruised so that they may see the need of grace.” My pain, when surrendered, becomes the pathway to intimacy with Christ. Brokenness is not my enemy; pride is.
Contemplation:
Do I view my brokenness as shameful, or as the place where grace meets me?
Prayer:
Father, turn my wounds into windows for Your mercy. Let me trust Your healing hands.
Challenge:
Journal one past wound that God has used to show you His grace. Thank Him for it.I’m
