The Tenderness of Christ
Scripture:
“He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm.” — Isaiah 40:11
Personal Reflection:
Sibbes portrayed Christ as a Shepherd whose tenderness never fails. The Lord does not drive His sheep harshly—He carries them. I can rest knowing I am held, not merely led.
Contemplation:
Do I picture Christ as a demanding master or as a gentle Shepherd?
Prayer:
Good Shepherd, gather me in Your arms. Let me feel the nearness of Your care.
Challenge:
Do something gentle and unexpected for someone under your care—reflect the tenderness of Christ.
