The Comfort of God’s Promises
Scripture:
“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.” — Titus 1:2
Personal Reflection:
Watson wrote, “The promises are the flowers which grow in the garden of Scripture.” When fear rises, I pluck one and breathe its fragrance. His promises remind me that faith feeds on divine certainty.
Contemplation:
The promises of God are not mere words but pledges sealed in Christ’s blood. To trust them is to anchor one’s soul in eternity’s harbor.
Prayer:
Faithful God, make Your promises precious to me today. Let me live as if every one were already fulfilled.
Challenge:
Choose one promise of Scripture to memorize today and repeat it whenever anxiety whispers.
