The Sovereignty of God in All Things
Scripture:
“Our God is in the heavens; He hath done whatsoever He hath pleased.” — Psalm 115:3
Personal Reflection:
Watson declared, “To murmur at God’s providence is to quarrel with His wisdom.” I often want control, but God’s sovereignty is my security. His rule assures that chaos is never final.
Contemplation:
Every detail of life—every delay, detour, and disappointment—is under His wise dominion. The believer’s peace is not found in understanding everything, but in trusting the One who does.
Prayer:
Sovereign Lord, subdue my restless heart and teach me to rejoice in Your absolute rule over my life.
Challenge:
When something goes wrong today, pause and say, “The Lord reigns—this too is under His control.”
