Devotion – The Bridge of Grace

Scripture:

“For by grace you have been saved through faith.” — Ephesians 2:8

Personal Reflection:
Edwards’ sermon drives me to one refuge—grace. The sinner’s peril makes the gospel precious. I am not held above hell by my grip on God, but by His grip on me. Grace is not fragile; it is omnipotent.

Contemplation:
Do I still trust in my performance, or in Christ’s perfection?

Edwards Quote:

Prayer:
Gracious Lord, thank You for holding open the door of mercy. Let me never boast except in the cross of Jesus Christ.

Challenge:
Write a short prayer of thanksgiving for grace and keep it where you can see it all week.
