The School of Providence
Scripture:
“All things work together for good to them that love God.” — Romans 8:28
Personal Reflection:
Newton often said that life’s trials are God’s “school of the heart.” The storms that once terrified him at sea became symbols of divine sovereignty. When I face hardship, I must remember that God’s providence never fails—His hand is steering even through the storm.
Contemplation:
Do I trust God’s wisdom when I cannot trace His ways?
Prayer:
Sovereign Lord, help me rest in Your providence when I do not understand Your plan. Make me teachable in the school of suffering.
Challenge:
Write down one difficulty in your life. Next to it, write one possible way God could be shaping your heart through it.
