The Journey Home

Scripture:
“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour.” — Philippians 3:20

Personal Reflection:
In his later years, Newton said, “My memory is nearly gone, but I remember two things: that I am a great sinner, and that Christ is a great Savior.” As his strength faded, his hope grew stronger. Life’s trials lose their sting when I remember I’m on my way home.

Contemplation:
Do I live as a citizen of heaven, or am I still clinging to the things of earth?

Prayer:
Lord, fix my eyes on the eternal shore. Let my hope be anchored in heaven, where Christ reigns.

Challenge:
Reflect each night this week on one eternal promise that makes heaven your true home.
