The Power of Prayer
Scripture:
“Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” — Luke 18:1
Personal Reflection:
Newton believed prayer was the breath of the Christian life: “Prayer is the pulse of the soul.” He wrote thousands of letters filled with intercession. Prayer is not for informing God but for transforming us. In prayer, my anxious heart meets His faithful heart.
Contemplation:
Is prayer my last resort or my first response?
Prayer:
Father, make prayer my delight, not my duty. Let communion with You be the habit of my soul.
Challenge:
Set aside ten minutes of silent prayer today—no requests, only worship and gratitude.
