Wrestling with Temptation

Scripture:
“God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able.” — 1 Corinthians 10:13

Personal Reflection:
Bunyan endured fierce temptations — even to curse God and deny Christ. He thought he had committed the “unpardonable sin.” Yet God never let him be overcome. I too face temptations that seem overwhelming, but God’s promise is clear: His faithfulness will always provide a way of escape.

Contemplation:
Do I fight temptation in my own strength, or do I rely on the power of Christ who conquered sin?

Quote (Bunyan):
“Temptation showed me the strength of sin, but also the greater strength of grace.”

Prayer:
Lord, when temptation comes, remind me of Your faithfulness. Give me strength to resist and grace to endure.

Challenge:
Identify one temptation you face often. Set a plan for how you will respond with Scripture and prayer.
